This is the second-most aggressive and effective resurfacing offered for mild to severe wrinkles and texture changes and acne scarring on the face. Columns of the treated area is replaced by new, healthier skin from nearby untreated skin. A fraction of the targeted area is treated resulting in faster healing time.
Healing time of 2-3 weeks with redness, oozing, crusting, and peeling. It requires oral pain medications and nerve blocks.
Requires a series of treatments (average of 3 treatments, 1 month apart)
