Summit Dermatology, Laser Surgery & Aesthetic Center is an organization that values exceptional service to our patients. We also want to serve our community at large. To support this mission, we participate in various events and help support worthy organizations.
Dermatology Foundation
Established in 1964, the Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to enabling advancements in patient care. The Dermatology Foundation (DF) provides research funding to investigators whose novel ideas have the potential to shape the future of the specialty and for the benefit of patients everywhere.
DF funding has helped support the following:
- Deepen our understanding of diseases and conditions including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, inflammatory dermatoses, and autoimmune skin diseases.
- Develop innovations including topical therapies for skin cancer, outcomes research, and biologic therapies.
- Keep talented researchers working with private funding for continued success.
Joint Animal Services
Summit Dermatology has a special place for animals. We support Joint Animal Services in Olympia and specifically contribute to Tucker’s Fund, an emergency vet fund. Who is Tucker? Tucker was a dog found with a crushed front leg that could not be saved. With donations, Tucker received surgery, recovered beautifully, and was adopted by a great family. Tucker’s Fund continues to restore health and dignity to dogs and cats and other animals abandoned.
Radiation Tattoo Treatments
We offer complimentary radiation tattoo laser treatments for cancer patients. Contact us to schedule your private consultation.
Providence St. Peter Foundation
This foundation provides resources to help support individuals who face a complex set of challenges including mental health, addiction, homelessness, and more. It assures that compassionate and quality health care is available, especially for individuals who are vulnerable. Donors make many programs possible such as Animal-Assisted Activities and Therapy, No One Dies Alone, Hospice Respite and Comfort Care, and SoundCareKids – a bereavement program for children who have lost a loved one.
