Beautiful woman, skin close up with a magnifying glass

If you want healthy, hydrated skin, it’s important to moisturize all year long, but this step is especially important in the fall and winter.

Your skin gets particularly dry and cracked in the winter due to low  humidity in the air.  To combat this, apply a thick body lotion or cream within minutes of getting out of the shower.  Immediately after water exposure, your skin is maximally hydrated so moisture levels can be sealed in with a thick moisturizer.  What do I use?  My favorites that can be purchased at the local drugstore include Cerave cream and Cetaphil cream.  For eczema-prone skin, I favor Epionce Medical Barrier Cream for its optimal hydration and repair of delicate, barrier-compromised skin.
